Welcome to Comilob. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application. Comilob is a creative tool that helps you transform photos and artwork into comic-style images and apply artistic style changes. We designed this document to be clear and straightforward so you can understand exactly what happens to your information while using the app.
By installing and using Comilob, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this document, please discontinue use of the application.
Comilob provides image creation features including comic-style image generation and style transfer. The app runs on your Android device and allows you to select images from your photo library, capture new photos with your camera, or reuse images from your previous creations stored locally on your device. Our focus is on giving you a simple and enjoyable creative experience while respecting your privacy throughout every step of the process.
We do not operate a social network, messaging platform, or identity verification service. Comilob is a standalone creative utility, and the information we handle is limited to what is necessary to deliver the features you choose to use. We do not collect user facial information at any point, whether during image upload, image processing, or result delivery.
Comilob collects only the minimum information required to provide its core features. The types of information involved are described below.
When you use features such as comic generation or style transfer, you may select one or more images from your device. These images are used solely to perform the creative transformation you requested. For example, if you upload a landscape photo, the app sends that image to our image processing service to generate a comic-style version. The image content is processed as a whole visual input and is not analyzed for the purpose of identifying individual faces or extracting facial features.
We want to be explicit: we do not collect user facial information. Comilob does not perform facial recognition, face detection for identification purposes, facial feature extraction, or biometric analysis of any kind. Even if an uploaded image happens to contain a face, our systems treat the image as a general visual input for artistic transformation only. No facial data is isolated, stored separately, or used to build any kind of facial profile.
Some features allow you to enter a text description (prompt) to guide the creative output. This text is transmitted along with your selected image to the image processing service so that the generated result matches your creative intent. Prompts are used only for the specific generation task you initiate and are not repurposed for unrelated activities.
To keep the app functioning properly, we may collect basic technical information such as your device model, operating system version, app version, and general error logs when something goes wrong. This information helps us identify bugs and improve stability. This technical data does not include the content of your photos, and it does not include user facial information or any biometric identifiers.
When you generate images, Comilob saves your results and related metadata on your device so you can view them later in the Works section. This local storage includes thumbnails, original parameters (such as style and aspect ratio), and timestamps. All of this data remains on your device unless you choose to delete it or uninstall the app.
Comilob does not collect user facial information. This is a fundamental principle of our app design. We do not gather, store, process, or share facial data, face templates, facial geometry, or any biometric information derived from your images.
In addition to facial information, we do not collect the following:
We do not require you to create a profile or provide personal registration details to use the app. There is no sign-in step, and we do not maintain user directories or identity records.
The information described above is used exclusively for the following purposes:
We do not use your images or any derived data for advertising profiling, marketing databases, or behavioral tracking. We do not use uploaded images to train facial recognition models or any system that identifies individuals. Again, we do not collect user facial information under any circumstance.
When you tap the generate button, your selected image is encoded and sent to our cloud-based image processing service. The service applies the AI model to transform your image according to the style, prompt, and parameters you chose. Once processing is complete, the resulting image is returned to your device and saved in your local creation history.
During this process, the uploaded image is handled as a complete picture for artistic rendering. The service does not scan the image to detect faces, map facial landmarks, or create face embeddings. We do not collect user facial information during upload, transit, processing, or download of any image.
Processed images are not published to any public gallery or shared with other users. The output belongs to your private creation history on your device.
Comilob may request the following device permissions to support its features:
You can deny any permission, though certain features may not work without the relevant access. For example, without camera permission you can still select images from your gallery, but you cannot take new photos within the app.
Your generated works, uploaded reference images, and associated metadata are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage area. You can delete individual works from the Works section or clear all app data through your device settings.
Images sent for cloud processing are used to fulfill your specific request. They are not retained by Comilob for long-term storage after the generation task is complete. We do not build permanent archives of your uploaded photos, and we do not collect user facial information from those photos at any stage of their lifecycle.
If you uninstall Comilob, all locally stored data including your creation history is removed from your device along with the application.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. The only sharing that occurs is the transmission of your selected image and prompt to the image processing service for the purpose of completing your requested generation. This transmission is necessary for the app to function and is limited to the specific task you initiate.
No facial information is shared because we do not collect user facial information. The processing service receives the full image as a visual input for artistic transformation and does not return any facial analysis data to Comilob or to your device.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information involved in app operations. Image data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Local app data is stored in your device's protected application sandbox, which other apps cannot access without special device privileges.
While we work to maintain a secure environment, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to keep your device updated with the latest system security patches and to use a screen lock to protect your personal content.
Comilob is a general-purpose creative tool suitable for a wide range of users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since the app does not require registration and does not collect user facial information, the privacy footprint for younger users is limited to the images they choose to create and store on the device under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the app in a way that concerns you, you can delete all app data by clearing storage in your device settings or uninstalling the application.
You have full control over how you use Comilob:
Because we do not collect user facial information, there is no facial data for you to request deletion of from our systems. Your images exist only as part of the creative workflow you initiate and as local files on your device.
Comilob relies on a cloud image processing service to perform AI-based image transformations. This service receives the image and parameters you provide for a single generation task. The service is instructed to process images for artistic output only. We do not permit the service to extract, retain, or use facial information from your images, consistent with our own practice of not collecting user facial information.
The Android operating system and the Google Play Store (if you downloaded the app from there) have their own privacy practices that are separate from this document. We encourage you to review your device and store settings to understand how they handle your data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app features or data handling practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and include the revised version in the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
Any future changes will continue to uphold our commitment that we do not collect user facial information. If a feature were ever proposed that conflicted with this principle, it would not be implemented.
Comilob is designed to be a privacy-conscious creative tool. We collect only what is needed to transform the images you choose, display your local creation history, and keep the app running smoothly. We do not collect user facial information, biometric data, or personal identifiers. We do not require registration, and we do not sell your data.
Your photos are used for the artistic purpose you request, processed securely, and stored on your device for your convenience. You remain in control of your content at all times.
